First off, HAPPY JUNE! Summer has finally arrived and I couldn’t be more excited. When summer is here, everyone perks up and is always smiling ear to ear – it’s wonderful!
This time of year is filled with a lot of time spent outside in minimal clothing. Therefore, we want to get those bodies lookin’ HOT! People are heading to the beach and having pool parties and we want to be able to wear our bathing suits and tank tops with 100% comfort.

This month, we are going to target our core and abs.
This should be done in addition to the other working out you already do on your own! This should not take place of your workouts.
Once a day, for the whole month of June, I want you to challenge yourself to do the following. One of my spin instructors has challenged her students to do something similar and I liked the idea, so here goes.
It will take 15 -20 minutes each day (that’s about 1% – 1.5% of your whole day)!
- Hold plank position for one minute
- Do 10 push ups, rest in child’s pose, do 9 push ups, rest in child’s pose, do 8 push ups, rest in child’s pose, and 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, all the way down to 1.
- Hold plank position for one minute.
- 50 situps (any way you want – get creative!)
